How Can I look for an apartment?

You can look, one by one, through all the apartments with their descriptions, and photos, in the tab "Reserve", to find the one that suits your purposes.
Or you can click on "Book Now" and go through the self-service apartment-booking search, to provide you a reduced list of apartments with their corresponding prices. It will show you only the apartments that are available for the days and number of people of your search. Calculations are based on dates and number of people requested.

How can I know how much I will have to pay for the apartment?

The total to pay is calculated automatically for you when you make an availability search or booking.

To calculate the total to pay for the chosen apartment you should take note of:

• The nightly price, for the number of people requested, that appears in the rates section of the complete information of each apartment.
• Remember: the rates depend on seasons, special events, congresses, fairs and holidays. .
• The booking fee ($20.00).

How does a booking on line function?

The On line Booking form makes an immediate pre-reservation of the apartment you have chosen. Remember you need to fill the booking form with all the requested information possible.

You will receive in return an automatic answer with:

• Your pre-reservation information and prices for you to approve,
• A "Confirmation number" that you will need to include as the subject in all future communications,
• The pre-payment information.

How can I confirm the pre-reservation?

You must make effective, to confirm your reservation, a minimum pre-payment of 50% (during special dates a pre-payment of 100% will be required). You can pay this amount through a bank transfer (SWIFT), PAYPAL or a credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

How should I pay all the pending amounts due for the reservation?

All remaining unpaid quantities will have to be made effective in CASH (US$) on arrival. If you want to pay with a credit card this must be done before arrival. (please remember to make sure you have enough cash upon arrival).

What can I do if I don’t have it clear or I want more information about the apartments?

If you have not found what you are looking for or are unsure about any step in this process, please do not hesitate to CONTACT US or fill out our "Apartment Request Form". Please fill in the form provided in this web-site with your different options and your comments and send it; we will contact you ASAP to resolve or clarify any doubts you may have.

Is the cleaning fee obligatory?

No. The apartment will be delivered clean. Extra cleaning service Fee is $20. For weekly rentals one (1) cleaning service is included. For monthly rentals four (4) cleaning services are included.

What happens with the breakage or damage deposit?

On arrival there is an obligatory 200 US$ deposit, or 10% whichever is higher, required in CASH. If all goes well and there is no breakage or damage in the apartment, this deposit will be returned in CASH upon check-out.

When can I get in the apartment?

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. and Check-out time: 12:00p.m. As a general rule the apartments are vacated no later than 12:00p.m.. We then have them thoroughly cleaned and try to have them ready for arrivals from 4:00p.m. onwards. We will try to accommodate earlier arrivals when possible.

How can I get the keys for the apartment?

Once you have arrived to the airport (and have received your baggage) or, if by car once close to the city, you must make a telephone call to the contact person for your apartment (this telephone number is provided in the reservation confirmation and arrival information e-mail you will receive). You must explain to the contact person where you are and how you will get to the specific meeting point for your apartment, to be able to organize a mutually convenient meeting time. We recomend our "Transportation Service" to get you to your apartment.

What is the check-out time?

The check-out time on your departure date is no later than 12:00 PM. If you need to leave earlier, please arrange departure time upon check-in. For early check-in or late check-out, please consult us for availability.
On check-out the clients are required to return all the keys given to them on check-in. All unreturned keys would be charged $75 to the client.


What are the house rules?

The house rules are a group of norms of behaviour that pertain to the apartment, and to the community it belongs to, that you as client must observe.
The apartment should not be used as a party space, but that of an accommodation for sleeping, eating, relaxing, etc.
Please look at the house rules thoroughly in order to avoid problems. Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Panama.

What happens if I get robbed?

If for whatever circumstances you get robbed, you should go to the local police.
Neither 4RENTPANAMA.COM, the apartment owners nor their agents shall be held liable for, and the customer or client waives any claim for any direct or indirect damage to property or injury to person or other inconveniences (including without limitation damages, insurances, losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behaviour). In no event shall 4RENTPANAMA.COM, the apartment owners nor their agents be liable for consequential damages even if is caused by any defect, negligence, omission or other wrongful act.
